Red 1966 Mustang coupe with a 289 V8, 2 barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, and pony interior. The VIN is 6R07C148004. The car was an everyday driver for the first several years that I owned it. It ran great. The last ten years, it's been garage stored and driven infrequently. Still starts up fine, but the carburetor could use a rebuild. It's no show car (plenty of small projects to be done), but still in great condition and a fun ride. I'm relocating out-of-state and have decided to finally part ways with it (reluctantly). The following describes some of the work that has been done on it: Purchased in 1996 with an odometer reading of 75k. The previous owner had the engine rebuilt. New radiator (1996; 76k miles). New transmission (1996; 78k miles). New audio system (1997). New wheels and tires (1997; 84k miles). New brakes (4 drums; 1998; 88k miles). Rear bearings replaced (1999; 90k miles). Professional tune-up (1999; 93k miles). Converted points to electronic ignition (2002; 96k miles). Leaf springs and rear shocks replaced (2002; 96k miles). New battery (2004; 96k miles). Heater case rebuilt with new heater core and gaskets (2012, 96k miles). I'm asking $9,500 OBO. Interested? Please respond! |
